General instructions regarding signature sheets:
- Ensure you are using the correct signature sheet for your specific College/School/Degree.
- If your degree/discipline’s Signature Sheet template does not contain names (either real names of real persons or fake names such as “Dr. Firstname Lastname” or “Dr. Asdf Ghjkl) under “Committee:”:
- Please do not insert your committee members’ names when you create your own Signature Sheet.
- If a signature area features a title (e.g., “Chair,” “Program Director”) but lacks an associated real or fictional name, leave the name field blank. Do not infer or supply a name.
- If there is a blank space (i.e., there is neither a name nor a title) next to a signature line under “Committee:”, please leave the space blank.
Special note for College of Education and Human Development, College of Humanities and Social Sciences, College of Visual and Performing Arts, and Jimmy and Rosalynn Carter School for Peace and Conflict Resolution signature sheets: Please do not list names under “Committee:”.
